Scope of application
Access data / server log files
We (or our web space provider) collect data about every access to our offer (so-called server log files). The access data include:
Name of the retrieved website
File, date and time of retrieval
Browser type and version, the operating system or terminal of the user
Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
Shortened IP address
We do not use this access data. However, we reserve the right to retrospectively check the log data if, on the basis of concrete evidence, the legitimate suspicion of unlawful use exists.
Handling of personal data
Personal data are information that can be used to determine a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or phone number. But also data about interests, memberships or which websites were viewed are considered as personal data.
Personal data will only be collected, used and passed on by us if this is permitted by law or if you, as a user, have consented to the collection of the data.
The data entered during the registration for our offer will be used for the purpose of using the offer. You can be informed about offer or registration-related information, such as changes in the scope of the offer or technical circumstances, by email.
The collected data can be seen from the input mask during registration. This includes a username and a valid email address. Of course, you can also register with a pseudonym and / or an avatar.
In order to contact us, your details will be stored for the purpose of processing the request as well as in case of follow-up questions. You will always be asked for your name and your email address and – depending on the respective contact request – further data. Depending on your wishes, we will ask for additional personal data required to process your request. For example, we need your phone number if you want to use our free callback service or your address if you want to receive a quote by mail. Please note that we evaluate the contact forms with codes and postal codes.
Comments and contributions
If you leave a comment on our website, for example in the news section or other posts, your IP address and your specified email address will be saved. This is done for our security in order to avoid comments and posts with criminally relevant content (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.). In such cases, we could also be prosecuted for the comment or contribution and are therefore interested in the identity of the author.
With the newsletter, we inform you about us, our offers and other news.
If you wish to receive the newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address from you, as well as information that allows us to verify that you own the specified email address or that the owner agrees to receive the newsletter. This is done in a so-called double-opt-in procedure. Further data is not collected. These data are used only for the dispatch of the newsletter and are – except for the technical dispatch of the newsletter by the third-party provider cleverreach.de – not given to third parties.
By registering for the newsletter, we save the source and date of registration. This storage serves solely as proof in the event that a third party misuses an email address and logs on without the knowledge of the person entitled to receive the newsletter.
Your consent to the storage of the data, the email address and their use to send the newsletter can be revoked by you at any time. The revocation can be done via a link in the respective newsletters themselves.
If necessary, the links and clicks contained in the newsletter are evaluated with the help of the provider cleverreach.de. For information on cleverreach.de, please refer to the privacy statement of cleverreach.de under http://www.cleverreach.de/frontend/agb.php
When you access our offer, one or more cookies are stored on your computer. A cookie is a small file that contains a specific string and uniquely identifies your browser. With the help of cookies, the provider improves the comfort and quality of his service, for example by saving user settings. Cookies do not harm users’ computers and do not contain viruses.
A use of the offer is also possible without cookies. You can disable the storage of cookies in your browser, limit them to certain websites or set your browser to notify them before a cookie is stored. You can delete cookies from your computer’s hard drive at any time using the privacy features of your browser. In this case, however, the features and usability of our offering may be limited.
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on users’ computers and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by them. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by the users are usually transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there.
However, in the event that IP anonymisation is activated on our website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to their disclosure. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the United States and shortened there. IP anonymization is active on this website. On behalf of us, Google will use this information to evaluate users’ use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.
The IP address provided by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google information. Users can prevent cookies from being stored by setting their browser software accordingly. We point out, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full. You may also prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
Our website uses links to some social media services. For maximum protection of your personal data, these can only be activated by means of a double-opt-in solution. This means that you must first signal by clicking that you want to use the social media services. Only then, the necessary scripts are loaded by the operator of the services and thus also data is transmitted to them. Please note, however, that under certain circumstances, data may be transmitted to the respective service when the button is activated. We have no influence on this data transfer.
Use of Facebook social plugins
Our website uses social plugins (“plugins”) from the social network facebook.com which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). In particular, we use the “Open Graph” feature of Facebook. The plugins are recognizable by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue tile or a “thumbs up” sign) or are marked with the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. The list and appearance of the Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: http://developers.facebook.com/plugins.
If you visit a website of our offer that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated by this in the website. We therefore have no influence on the extent of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore informs users according to our knowledge: http://www.facebook.com/help/186325668085084
By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the offer. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign your visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example, press the like button or leave a comment, the information is transmitted from your browser directly to Facebook and stored there. If you are not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will find out and save your IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymous IP address is stored in Germany.
If you are a Facebook member and you do not want Facebook to collect data about you via this offer and link it to your member data stored on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.
It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins with add-ons for your browser, for example with the “Facebook Blocker”. http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/
+1 button from Google+
Our website uses the “+1” button on the Google Plus social network operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”). The button is recognizable by the sign “+1” on white or colored background.
When you visit a web page of our offering that includes such a button, the browser establishes a direct connection to Google’s servers. The content of the “+1” button will be sent by Google directly to your browser and incorporated into the website by Google. We therefore have no control over the amount of data Google collects from the button. According to Google, no personal data is collected without a click on the button. Only logged in members, such data, including the IP address, collected and processed.
Our website uses the buttons of the service Twitter https://twitter.com/about/resources/buttons. These buttons are provided by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. They are recognizable by terms such as “Twitter” or “follow”, associated with a stylized blue bird. With the help of the buttons, it is possible to share a post or page of this offer on Twitter or to follow the provider on Twitter.
